I’m pretty sure most of you have tried either Paneer or Chicken in Butter Masala at some point in your lives. But for those of you who need a little info, paneer masala is a classic Indian mild but spicy curry, in a creamy way.

The combination of spices going into this creamy, tomato and onion based sauce is so perfect it makes the curry explode with flavour. The lovely vibrant coloured sauce with bits of marinated chicken and paneer (cheddar cheese) is just pure delight!

The near-perfect combination of spiciness and creaminess of its gravy makes it simply irresistible and versatile. The cheese blocks are added towards the end of the cooking into the sauce to soak up all the lovely flavours and a dash of cream gusts out from the melting cheese is all it needs for a perfect mild but full of flavour dish. Serve it with naan or Rice.
